R. Kelly & 2Pac Discussed Collabo Album
R.Kelly celebrates the 10th anniversary of his masterpiece TP2.com in the November issue of XXL. While discussing the song, “I Wish”, he reveals that he and 2Pac planned on creating the original Best Of Both Worlds album. Don’t tell Birdman—or Jay-Z for that matter.
Well, “I Wish” was basically about Tupac about first. I met Tupac in L.A.- the [Hotel Nikko] and he was rolling by in his drop-top-whatever hot car. I seen him, and yelled out, “Pac! Pac” He was driving by, rolling by himself. I’m like, his nigga got a lot of balls to be rolling by himself! So he made a U-Turn, jumped out the car. “What up, my nigga?” So we kicked it for a minute. I said, “Dude, we need to do an album.” See, The Best Of Both Worlds was for me and Tupac first. “I Wish” was gonna be the first song that we were gonna do.

Eminem: #1 Hottest MC In The Game
Drum roll please. This year’s Hottest MC In The Game is none other than Eminem. Can’t front, Fire Marshall has been a sizzling for nearly the entire year. Read up below:
Em got back in the swing of things this year, first by ripping the all-star posse cut “Forever,” which, despite being released in September 2009, had enough momentum to keep playing all the way into 2010. Then he guested on the Lil Wayne single “Drop the World,” a highly anticipated duet between the two rappers that had been buzzed about for years; added a poignant verse to the remix of B.o.B’s “Airplanes”; and even dropped a couple of freestyles (on Drake’s “Over” beat and Lloyd Banks’ “Beamer, Benz or Bentley”).
Jay-Z: #2 Hottest MC In The Game
It was close, but the reigning Hottest MC In The Game falls to second place. Two is not a winner, but in this case, everyone will still remember. On to the next one.
“There’s nobody in the game that’s even coming close to spitting how Jay is doing,” MTV News’ Shaheem Reid said. “When you talk about Hottest MCs, that’s the very foundation … and Jay is just murdering everything in hip-hop right now, lyrically.”
