This past June, 9th Wonder and J.Cole attended a function sponsored by EA Sports in support of
NBA Elite 11. Shortly after, 9th spoke to Rap Radar about scoring the
soundtrack to the video game. Now months later, it was announced that the Tar Heels have created the lead track for game entitled, “The Plan”. It’s the first time game’s exclusively featured two artists. Here’s what Cole had to say:
“As a big sports video game fan, it’s an honor to be a part of EA Sports NBA Elite 2011. I thank EA for trusting in me to create the game’s main song. I truly enjoyed the experience.”
NBA Elite 2011 drops October 5th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming consoles.
